2025 COHORT | KUONYESHA ART FUND PARTNERS

ree

We are delighted to introduce the 2025 Kuonyesha Art Fund partners, 26 artists and collectives from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Tunisia, Cameroon, Rwanda, and Ghana whose work uses art as a tool for justice, inclusion, memory, and community healing.

From disability and inclusive arts, film, cartoon animation, dance, literature and poetry to fashion, heritage crafts, jewellery, photography, painting, music, and recycling/visual art, this cohort reflects the bold, diverse, and resilient spirit of Africa’s creative landscape.

This year’s partners include disability-led and inclusive arts initiatives, menstrual health-conscious fashion, peace and anti-early marriage videography, and heritage crafts that protect culture while creating livelihoods. Together, they will shape new stories, images, and sounds that centre communities and expand what is possible for artists across the continent.
