It looks like the visual arts are turning out to be the most resilient art form in these COVID19 pandemic times. While theatres are closed to performing/ stage arts showcases, cinema doors are shut to film lovers and literary readings are not gathering bibliophiles to hear authors read excerpts from new books, galleries are drawing art lovers in.
Two exhibitions have been put on in the recent past. “Playing To The Gallery” has been running at the Afri Art Gallery on 7th Street Industrial Area since Saturday July 25th 2020 and will end Saturday September 19th 2020. The newly-created city of Jinja showed off its artsy side by way of a one-day video visual art exhibition by Scarlet Motiff curated by home girl Nicole Remus. More
